I have been a member of myLot a forum which has more than 1,03,000+ members. I joined 9 months ago and I have been using the site for about 3 hours a day. Basically it is a forum, with FREE MEMBERSHIP and open to all countries of the world. I joined in August 2006 and have been benefitted in more than one way.
WORKING OF THE FORUM
The forum has the following activities:
1. Discussions: Any one can introduce a topic of interest which attracts the attention of other members to respond.
2. When responses pourin, the person initiates discussion gets email communication and by using link directly go to that particular page, and if need be, he can comment on the response. Members get paid to post discussion topics.
3. Also member can respond to other's discussion topics. Member can get paid to do so.
4. There is a tag which can be applied depending on the topic.
5. One can bring in referrals and those who bring in referrals are paid.
6. There are lots of advertisements on discussion/response paige and if interests, members can click.
7. Members can blog by using blog area of the site.
8. Members can get URLS of most popular and paying sites so that one can join those sites.
9, Members by using PM, can post urls of other sites to their friends.
10. Payment is announced everyday for the contributions made by members and payment is made once a month before 15th of next month, provided one reaches a minimum payout of $15.
I have posted more than 13500 posts in the last 9 months and I am in 4th position in 1,03,000 members ladder and have earned more than $600 from mylot site directly and indirectly I have earned another $300 by taking up membership in other paying sites.

myLot is history now. They got saturated. Spammers did the rest. I made much more than that there, but through referrals. There are better places elsewhere on the net. I know that you are at Xomba too. HubPages are a thousand times better, anyday! Welcome to HubPages.
You are absolutely right. When I joined, the payment system was different and the rewards perday was more than $10 per day. Now the rate of payment is reduced and hence earnings are not much. I am not active at Xomba. I joined hubpages just a fortnight ago. Thank you very much for your kind words.

Mylot is a discussion forum. And favorite discussion forum - which is one of the tips on increasing traffic to your hubpage. I actually saw someone ask "would you please visit my hubpage?" So indirectly, another way of making money on mylot. Mylot can be fun and I've always said that even if they stopped paying, I would still go on there.

huh! how i wish e can still earn that much from mylot till now. lol! but anyway, even if earnings from mylot is not that huge by now, still i love the site because i have so much fun in there spending the time, talking, chatting with friends and i can see that mylot do things to make their members earn even some more.
i will also be trying my luck here on hubpages...
